Disappointing
4.0The hotel staff were accommodating when it came to changing our reservation dates, and I genuinely appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help. The location is absolutely excellent - you honestly couldn’t ask for a better one. Unfortunately, these were the only real highlights of our stay.
− The overall experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. Upon arrival, a ‘receptionist’ was sitting in the dark on one of the sofas in the hotel bar. He did not introduce himself or make any effort to assist us, to the point where it was impossible to tell whether he was a guest or a member of staff. We had to complete the check-in process ourselves, and even when he noticed that we were struggling to create our key cards, he made no attempt to help. Fortunately, a lady eventually came along and was genuinely kind and helpful. The Wi-Fi on the ground floor was absolutely terrible and practically unusable. The room was not cleaned during our stay, and the towels were not changed. On top of that, the room had an overpowering smell of bleach when we first entered, which was particularly unpleasant for me as a pregnant woman. We specifically paid extra for a room with breakfast included, expecting a decent and convenient start to the day. Instead, the breakfast was extremely poor and limited to pastries, yogurt and spreads, with virtually nothing substantial to eat. As a result, I ended up looking for breakfast elsewhere every morning, despite having already paid for it at the hotel.

− Ontbijt was erg beperkt en karig, en snel op. De plain/normale yoghurt was vaak op. Volgende keer zou ik waarschijnlijk ergens anders ontbijten.

− Het ontbijt was te minimaal. Er werd tijdens ons verblijf (4 nachten) niet gepoetst of de handdoeken vervangen. Voor de betaalde prijs had dat wel gemogen.
