− As many previous guests have stated, I was also charged unauthorized amounts by this hotel using the card they had on file. I’ve been disputing the charges for weeks, yet they keep insisting they’re correct—even though their own billing summary clearly shows otherwise. There are numerous reviews across different platforms describing the same issue, so this hardly seems like an isolated mistake. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay here. They will take unauthorized charges from your card and then refuse to acknowledge it.

Good location, comfortable bed, but room was too dark to justify the price and probably would not stay again

Good location, service in the lobby was good

− Bathroom smelled like urine when I arrived, room was very dark which with the dark tinted windows was a depressing environment, bathroom finishes were old and there was no shower gel or soap in the shower

El desayuno muy bueno. La cercanía con puntos de interés y la estación de metro a 2 cuadras lo cual permite ir fácilmente a cualquier parte. El personal muy amable.

This is a lovely place to stay but due to my check-in experience I won’t be returning.

Good location, clean room, good size and comfortable bed.

− The security deposit being taken at check-in wasn’t made clear to me by check-in staff (or booking.com who is mainly at fault as that is who I booked with and it was not made clear) however the staff were very dismissive when I returned to reception, confused about this charge. I was made to feel as if I was stupid for not knowing this and was told that the employee disclosed this was happening at check-in which he did not or I would not have been surprised to see $700 leave my account. He simply asked for my card “for incidentals” which I thought to be things like drinks and dinner at the restaurant, room service etc. There was no mention of this security deposit at this time. I have never stayed in New York before and did not know this was policy but was made to feel as if I should have. Regardless of who was at fault, the attitude towards me for questioning this was very disappointing and as a solo female traveller (both employees who I spoke with were male) I felt intimidated by the way I was spoken to. I chose to avoid these members of staff for the remainder of my stay. Other staff members I interacted with were lovely.

Hotel idéalement situé pour notre semaine à NYC, un petit balcon au 19 ème étage

− Le bar Gloden Child est fermé le lundi ( alors que nous sommes en période de vacances ) c'est la queue devant les 2 ascenseurs qui distribuent les chambres !!
