To many questions from checking in to checking out to setting up a simple massage. Way too much.
6.0It has a good vibe
− Music thumping all night. Service desk sent security but no solution

10.0Brilliant location, fantastic pool and spa
− Coffee in the room left a lot to be desired, cups tasted as if they were cleaned with surface cleaner.
Perfect Honeymoon
10.0Before I even set foot in the building, I’d already had a wonderful experience. I was trying to plan the perfect honeymoon and was in frequent communication with numerous members of staff — every single one of them helpful and friendly. They arranged a dream upgrade at a generous discount for our special occasion. A quick orientation: the hotel is spread across two buildings. The Bank houses The Duchess, the spa, and the Urban Suites. The Exchange has Mr Porter, the rooftop lounge and pool, and views of the palace. We stayed in the Bank, in an Urban Suite — the only room type with an outdoor terrace and hot tub. They’d covered everything in rose petals and left champagne and two drinks tickets waiting for us. The bed is incredibly comfortable. On future visits I’ll only be booking Urban Suites. The location can’t be beaten. Dam Square, De Wallen, the canals, and endless shopping and dining are all within walking distance. Our first night we walked to Abraxas and then around the shops at the square; the next morning we wandered De Wallen with a stop at Bulldog the First; the following night we walked to our private canal cruise. There are also taxis lined up outside, which came in handy for the museums further out. Breakfast is served daily at Mr Porter from 7–10, and at The Duchess Friday to Sunday. The spread and options were delicious. Room service runs a separate, more limited menu — the restaurant dishes aren’t available through it — but what they have is very good. I had the breakfast quesadilla one morning, and one evening they made me a plain cheeseburger instead of the fancy one on the menu. Both were great. The team accommodated every request swiftly, including a bag of ice for my poor knee alongside two jars of ketchup, and they were excellent at bringing order to our chaos while we were out. The spa is lovely. My husband and I each had a 90-minute relaxation massage — never long enough! — and reserved time in the wet facilities: cold plunge, fire bath, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, and hot tub. The cold plunge was my favourite. The massage was exquisite. Dinner at The Duchess is perfection. Every bite of every dish was heaven. Get the seafood pasta. We’ll definitely be back for our anniversary. I already can’t wait.
an ok stay
8.0Not recommend Mr Porter. Bring your money somewhere else. That said, I’d like to give special recognition to Nida, who was very professional and genuinely guest-service oriented. She handled my complaint very well, Her attitude were truly appreciated
Not worth it. Totally not .
5.0I liked the pool , the perfumed hallways and the fast elevator's
− There where a lot of unclean places , in the hotel room and outside the hotel rooms . I have a lot of pictures and videos of these dirty spots . I expected 5 stars to be clean to the highest level , but I'm truly disappointed. Never again . I've paid more then 400 € for this .
Great!! Could have been excellent given how expensive it is..
7.0The Spa was the best thing about the Hotel. Also excellent location.
− The room was not up to my expectations. And not very sound proof.
