− Dirty sheets, with holes. The curtains would not go up, we had to keep them down all the time. There was no shampoo, no shower gel, only air conditioner.

8.0The hotel is in a perfect location, in a really nice area and close to everything. It was very convenient for getting around and exploring the city.
− Unfortunately, I don’t feel that this is really a 4-star hotel. The cleanliness could definitely be much better, especially for a hotel of this category. That said, overall it was okay and I had a pleasant stay.

− Everything is just old, stains on curtain, room was a bit small, the elevator didn't work (down button was broken, so you had to press up to go down.

4.0The location.
− It was a bit of a hot mess. Surly and distant front desk service. Faulty elevators. Small, dank room. No room refrigerator. Slow service in bar/cafe. (I have stayed in Freehand NY many times, and while it's also past its glory days, the value kinda makes up for it.)
