Nice property
8.0It's on a nice street and we found the location quiet. We were able to walk to many things we wanted to do and it was easy to get an Uber to other locations. Breakfast was very good. We intended to check out the spa but did not get around to it.
− I cant say the front desk staff were rude but arriving tired after a delayed domestic flight i found them annoying and less then helpful. I thought i had prepaid for this room so it surprised me to be asked for payment. I then could not use the credit card after entering the wrong PIN multiple times ( as I said I was tired). I did not have enough US cash with me at the end of the trip. I was not able to pay in full at checkout, as most other hotels had offered. . I was not allowed to pay cash for the first night and then fiqure out the credit card thing for the next day. He just kept repeating that i had to pay in full or leave. He made me feel like I was at a high end hotel which he was certain I could not afford. I know they have their rules but not once did he apologize, attempt to relate, or offer helpful suggestions. It was my son that came up with the solution of using the cash we had and putting the rest on a card that was only allowing smaller transactions while away from home. This experience was extra frustrating and completely unexpected after the very helpful staff we encountered at all the other hotels we stayed at in Peru.

Happy to recommend the hotel but skip breakfast.
7.0Spacious room, clean & had everything we needed.
− The breakfast was not good. Also did not like being questioned by staff about my husband (he’s Peruvian) they said I had only paid for one breakfast after using Booking.com to book the queen room for 2. Afterwards another member of staff came & asked if we had both filled out the registration papers (we had the day before) & questioned what time we checked in.
