I’d stay here as a last resort.
7.0It suited its purpose for a stay in Oslo.
− Too boutique’ie. Seemed to be trying too hard to be edgy and artsy. City view was of a scruffy noisy children’s playground. And very modular surrounding buildings. No city view.
Air conditioning is centrally controlled - room temperature and humidity unbearable
2.0I am deeply disappointed with my stay at The Thief. For a luxury 5-star hotel charging premium rates, guests should absolutely have the right to control their own room temperature. The hotel explicitly advertises air conditioning, but the thermostats are centrally locked. It relies on a central ventilation system that does not cool the room down properly. I could not lower the temperature to a comfortable level, which severely impacted my sleep and overall comfort. Advertising AC without giving guests actual control over it is completely misleading at this price point. I would not recommend this property if you value a cool, controllable room
