Lovely renovated art deco bldg but if you request a balcony, ask for floor 4 and above….
8.0Newly renovated art-deco building on Broadway in Downtown LA. Modern paint schemes while accentuating the MCM architecture. Furnishings are artsy but functional and security is top notch. And for you art lovers, there’s a Bansky right across the street.
− Well, and I’m solely attributing this to my special rate through Booking, I requested a balcony room - the room itself was delightful! And balcony is old style Ne York metal with a small round table and two chairs. What didn’t I like? The fact that I was placed on the 3rd floor and the view from my entire balcony was blocked by the only billboard on the block. I didn’t complain but did mention that I assumed I was given that room due to my Booking reservation. The very polite front desk attendant actually admitted it through a slight nod. It was still a very comfortable stay.
