Passamos 09 dias! Tudo perfeito! Excelente acolhimento e atenção de toda a equipe em todos os espaços do hotel. Muito confortável, charmoso e bem cuidado. A área da piscina e o bar são impecáveis! O restaurante à noite é excelente, com pratos deliciosos e uma ótima carta de vinhos. O café da manhã à la carte também merece destaque: comida muito boa, serviço rápido e atencioso. A localização é simplesmente perfeita! Muito próximo à famosa e charmosa Park Avenue, onde estão excelentes restaurantes, cafés e lojas de Winter Park. Toda a região é linda, arborizada e muito agradável para caminhar. O hotel também fica próximo ao belíssimo Mead Botanical Garden, que vale muito a visita. Uma excelente experiência! Uma combinação perfeita de conforto, charme, excelente atendimento, gastronomia e localização. Certamente voltaríamos!

Amazing boutique hotel with five star accommodations, service, and amenities. My husband and I can’t wait to return. This is a hidden gem in the middle of such a beautiful quaint town. We live and Tampa and felt like we were far away. I would highly recommend the Alfond Inn to anyone wanting a luxurious stay in Winter Park.

The Alfond Inn is a gorgeous hotel located so perfectly to enjoy Winterpark! The rooms are beautiful as is the entire hotel and gorgeous gardens! The entire staff are so professional and kind they went above and beyond to meet all our needs. We always stay at The Alfond Inn and LOVE it! Also, Hamilton’s Kitchen at Alfond Inn is our favorite restaurant in Winterpark!

A Cold and Dry Stay

My friends and I stayed at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park, and unfortunately, the experience left us feeling extremely unwelcome. At check in, I watched the front desk attendant warmly greet a white couple, thoroughly explain the hotel, answer questions, joke with them, and give them a complete rundown of everything. When it was my turn, the interaction was completely different. I was asked for my information, briefly told where the room was, and that was essentially it. Nothing was explained, and the tone felt dry, dismissive, and almost as though my presence was an inconvenience. As a Black guest, it was difficult not to notice the sharp difference in treatment. Sometimes you want to enjoy a beautiful or upscale hotel, but the way you are treated can ruin the entire experience. Instead of feeling valued, we felt tolerated. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that we mostly stayed in the room, made other plans around town, and checked out. The valet also lost my only Tesla key, which will cost me several hundred dollars to replace. That made an already disappointing stay even worse. The only positive part of the experience was the young woman working at the front desk during checkout. I was having stomach issues, and she kindly allowed me a little extra time before leaving. I genuinely appreciated that small act of consideration. Other than that, the stay felt dry, stale, uncomfortable, and unwelcoming. Luxury is not only about the appearance of a building. It is also about how guests are treated. I would rather spend my money somewhere I feel celebrated and respected, not somewhere I feel judged or dismissed because of how I look. I would not return.
