Close to the Allegiant Stadium for the BTS concert.

− The room was filthy. Clump of hair stuck on the bathroom door, bobby pins on the floor. The glass shower door was loose at the hinge. The shower handle was so loose, we couldn’t turn the knob to the hot water temperature that each individual wanted. This was reported to Housekeeping, no action. Reported the issues to the front desk. Flippant attitude by the supervisor. I think she thought that I was looking for a discounted price. That wasn’t the issue. We wanted attention to a clean room for the high prices we paid for a six night stay due to the demand for rooms from the BTS attendees. She promised she would get housekeeping to attend to our unclean room. No action. When we checked out, I told the front desk clerk that nothing was done to address the issues of uncleanliness during our total stay. This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The ranking was not reflected anywhere with housekeeping and the front desk staff. However, I will say that the luggage staff people were very accommodating and helpful all around. Kudos to that department!

Clean big rooms Very comfy bed and linen Pool was excellent and well managed

− Reception is an absolute joke … more than an hour to check in then when my room card didn’t work despite going up for the reception desk they very impolitely instructed me that I had to join the back of the queue to get my cards re issued. Another 49 mins of my life wasted … once I finally got to the front again it took less than 1 minute to fix No smiles No welcome Just extremely rude and bordering on aggressive staff Given how much they charge it’s a disgrace that they don’t have a queue for general queries separate to those waiting to check in On that subject why on earth does it take so long given pre booking of rooms … extremely frustrated with the whole customer service ethos … it doesn’t exist I also reported that the shower was an old fashioned semi broken mixer tap that either left the shower too hot or at best like warm plus the door was stuck so hard you had to yank it hard to open it Honestly such a let down - I won’t be coming back despite being back in the USA in two weeks

The pool which saves the place.

− The noisy construction work being carried out in the lift lobby of the W. The exorbitant prices of EVERYTHING, the fact you get charged if you so much as look at anything in the fridge. NO COMPLIMENTARY coffee or tea making facility. The shoddy poor electrical outlets that nearly pull out of the wall when you remove a plug. Dirty windows and cheap feeling cupboards in the bedroom that appear to have been designed in the early 80's like the bathtub and shower. Of you want somewhere muuuuch nicer, do yourself a favour, get off the strip and go to Green Valley Ranch & Spa, it completely outclasses on all levels, room size is much better, the standard of cleanliness and facilities sooooo much nicer, even the pool area is infinitely nicer and classier as is the entire surrounding area, unlike the run down skank of the strip. Free parking rounds out the pleasure, the Mandalay felt like a sentence by comparison.

Good location, chaotic check-in

Room was clean and a good size, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Location is good, with free tram to Luxor and Excalibur. Parking garage was close and ability to park for free at other mgm group hotels was great.

− Check in was chaotic - our room was not ready, the booking said check in was at 3, staff told us it was "after 3” and it could be anytime up until 6pm before our room was available and to wait for an email. In the end we waited around 50 minutes and then we were allocated a room by a member of staff. Our room had a broken door handle in the bathroom and shower leaked. The in room extras (mini bar, water and snacks) are sensor triggered - stressful with 2 kids in the room and it meant that half of the counter space couldn't be used to avoid accidentally getting charged a million dollars for nudging some Pringles.

Le camere e le piscine sono molto grandi inoltre i bambini potevano accedere a tutte le piscine. La struttura non é nuovissima ma comunque é molto ben tenuta in perfetto stile Vegas. Buona anche la posizione un po' lontana dal caos della strip ma ben collegata.

− La fila per il check out alla fine della vacanza era troppo lunga. Lo shark reef pensavo fosse gratis per i clienti dell hotel o comunque dovrebbe essere scontato per chi pernotta li. Le ciambelle per la piscina con la corrente costano troppo considerato il fatto che a fine soggiorno le lasci in hotel. La porta del nostro bagno scricchiola va tantissimo.
