Hotel for short stopover in Albuquerque
7.0Spacious room with nice bed and all amenities you need. Free parking and plenty of parking spots. Next to the Interstate 25 and close to shopping mall with restaurants. Nice breakfast with tasty hot and cold items.
− The area around the hotel doesn’t feel safe with homeless people walking around the hotel. WiFi is very slow. Quality of tv channels is poor, cable needs an update. Friendly staff at check in, uninterested lady at check out.
Good but who removes the helpful folding baggage rack?
8.0The late night Receptionist (Cheryl) was courteous and very helpful the night I arrived. I had been delayed by a series of airline disruptions and arrived at about 0100 instead of about 2100 as per my original flight bookings. To add insult to injury, my two suitcases were not available when I arrived at ABQ airport - they were not available until almost 24 hours later! Cheryl was understanding and as helpful as she could be under the difficult circumstances. I had consciously chosen this hotel for its proximity to the ABQ Balloon Fiesta field (about 10 minutes away - depending on traffic).
− Why has this hotel removed the usual folding baggage rack which nearly every other hotel I used this trip provided? Instead, this hotel now provides a small shelf in the wardrobe space which eats in the limited space available. It is also as far removed from the rest of the room as is possible (viz., at the door). This is - IMHO - an inappropriate and unhelpful change since I last stayed.

− Everything : Room smoke strongly couldn’t even sleep, front desk staff is rude and deny any help WiFi is so slow not useable , we had to use our data. TV is broken No one comes to change towel or clean the room Staff are all rude not willing to help We came back from ballon’s fiesta 10 minutes before it close , we told them we just came in but they lock the area without even tell us
