9.0We've really enjoyed the Duplex Suite, the novelty of two-story separation between the "dining" and "living" areas. Each story in the Suite had a bathroom, TVs and places to sit and store things. It's probably more suited for a couple/romantic stay (no separation between the bath and the rest of the room, no door or curtain, so keep that in mind if you're staying with a friend or family member). The location was superb - very close to most public transport methods, the river, shopping, food, groceries and landmarks - you name it! Friendly staff, good breakfast (each day was a little variation, all fresh and tasty). Even when visiting in August - the air conditioning was working well, just a little difficult in the middle of the day when the beautiful ceiling windows were heating up the living room. But there are curtains and shading film on the glass, so the hotel did everything they could for keeping the heat out - great work!
− A few inconvenient things to take into account as a guest: If you're taking the 5th floor suite, the "top floor" gets a weak wifi signal, or sometimes no signal at all. Bottom floor was fine. A few architectural issues are that there are no vents/windows in the bottom floor toilet, so there's no easy way to air it out. top floor bath and shower have small water flow management issues. When we stayed - one of the elevators was being renovated/built/fixed, it was still usable but the walls were plywood. Probably temporary. A few easy fixes for improving the rooms that the management can do: 1. No door / curtain between the bath and the living area, like mentioned above. Can't even hide behind a wall because the mirrors reflect into every room! Very romantic if with a partner, not for most other uses. 2. Not enough hooks / surfaces in the bath to hang or lay items and clothes. No place for the shampoo bottle (which is designed to be pressed, need to hold in both hands or lay on floor in the shower) 3. Room advertised as having a "hot tub" - it's just a bath tub, no hydrotherapy or jets. Maybe better to replace wording to avoid disappointment. 4. Maybe possible to add another trashcan in the dining area to avoid throwing food waste in the unventilated bathroom trash.

9.0It was a great experience, the location of the hotel is perfect near to the important tourist spots in Budapest, the staffs are friendly and helpful especially Jasmin in the breakfast room and the breakfast is wonderful and variant. The room is clean but I think it's not fully finished the renovation. All in all perfect for us, we will recommend to families or friends who wants to visit Budapest.
