− Die Lautstärke des Straßenverkehrs war hoch. Das Frühstück ist zu teuer. Es gab zwar Kaltgetränke, aber für das Preisniveau wäre ein Wasserkocher und Becher zu erwarten.
Not the best stay
5.0The room was clean and bright.
− We arrived after a very long drive from Berlin, only to discover that the hotel car park is around a 10-minute walk away. After parking, we then found out at check-in that passports were required, meaning we had to walk all the way back to the car to retrieve them. While there is a notice inside the hotel explaining this requirement, it’s not particularly helpful once you’ve already arrived—especially when the return trip to the car park takes around 20 minutes. Throughout our trip, no other hotel in Europe had asked to see our passports, so both this requirement and the off-site parking arrangement should be made clear during the booking process rather than at check-in. We also hired bikes from the hotel, but one had a faulty chain that came off three times during our ride. This left grease on our clothing and significantly spoiled the experience. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the bike despite the fault, which we felt was unfair. Overall, our stay was disappointing. There are some simple changes to the information provided before arrival and better maintenance of the bikes that would make a big difference to the guest experience.
