7.0The hostel staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to reach and close to the center of Edinburgh. The rooms were clean and functional. I would definitely consider staying at this hostel again on a future trip to Edinburgh. Thank you.

Leider negativ überrascht lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig.
5.0Die Matratzen waren bequem, man hatte ebenfalls gut Platz für seine Taschen. Das Personal war an sich ganz nett.
− Abgesehen von den Matratzen und der Schlafniche kann ich leider wirklich nicht gross was positives über das Hostel sagen. Leider waren Wc, Dusche und allgemein die Badezimmer wirklich unhygienisch und einfach nicht sauber. Teilweise war tagelang keine Seife fürs Händewaschen nicht nachgefüllt. Die WCs mit Haaren und Dingen auf dem Boden. Die Duschen wollte ich schon gar nicht betreten. In der Küche waren Offen und die Kochplatten defekt. Der Wasserhahnen hing nur noch so halbe. Auch diesen Raum habe ich nach dem Anblick nicht nochmal betreten wollen. Ich war im gesamten 3 + 1 Nacht da und während den 3 Nächte Aufenthalt wurde wirklich nicht einmal im Untergeschoss geputzt. Falls ihr ein Hostel für eine Nacht sucht, ist es ok aber für mehrere Tage ist es wirklich nicht zu empfehlen :/ Schade, denn auf den Bildern sah es gar nicht so schlecht aus. Es hätte ein Mega Potenzial wenn die Badezimmer und Küche regelmässig gereinigt werden und die Ausstattung davon geflickt werden oder erneut. Das 18ner Zimmer im 1. Stock ist schon etwas besser als das Untergeschoss. Leider sind wirklich der Eingang und die Bar im Erdgeschoss verlockend schön eingerichtet, jedoch die nicht auf den ersten Blick sichtbaren Räume weniger oder gar nicht einladend.

There is no elevator access in the hostel and all rooms are accessible by stairs only, over 3 floors.
Small lockers for valuables are available with access from 08:00 until 23:00.
Males who book the female-only dormitory room will not be permitted to stay and a refund will not be issued.
