Location to the town, but then there are other hotel's just as close.

− Myself and my wife took their presidential suite, and wow, what a joke! For their "very best" the room we had had a broken sink, bath on/off button that was not attached to anything and was faulty, the shower was smaller than a UK phone box and was very worn and dated. After switching on the spa tub, located on the roof terrace, it leaked and came through the ceiling of the bedroom, we had a huge leak that we feared would collapse, paint around the ceiling leak also started to immediately flake and looked like it had been snowing! There initial solution, "pop out for a few hrs and we will paint over the leak area"!! This could not have been the first water issue as we counted 5 botched ceiling patches whereby they have cut a hole, placed a piece of plaster board and refixed with silicon. After complaining several times we were finally moved to their other Suite. After seeing the same ceiling patches in this room we switched on the air conditioning. It didn't work!! we had two different maintenance workers turn up who simply turned the room power off and just said "it will reset after 10mins"! it never reset. After having no sleep due to the room temp we again complained, this time we were told, air conditioning is broken on our floor!! this new room also had a new spa tub canopy installed moments before and was left with screws and waste pieces on the floor. Breakfast - tried an omelette (that you have to pay extra for!) and was raw in the middle! overall breakfast is very basic and they have a toaster that doesn't even toast! maybe why the roof terrace restaurant was always empty? Hotel Pool - if using be quick, we noticed that people were taking the very few sunbeds at 9am and most lose their sun mid-day. Cherry on the cake - compensation for the many issues we endured was cut in half and the customer relations manager denied all knowledge even though it was a face to face conversation!

Our stay at NH Collection Taormina was fantastic from beginning to end. What stood out the most was the exceptional service from the front desk team. We initially booked a room that wasn’t quite what we had expected. Although the hotel was fully booked for our first night, the staff handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. They offered to move us to a beautiful suite at no additional cost after the first night, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and made a huge difference to our stay. It’s this kind of customer service that truly sets a hotel apart. The hotel itself is outstanding—modern, elegant, and perfectly located within walking distance of everything Taormina has to offer. Our suite had breathtaking views that we looked forward to every morning and evening, making the experience even more memorable. The breakfast was excellent, the facilities were beautiful, and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A sincere thank you to the entire NH Collection Taormina team for turning what could have been a small disappointment into an exceptional experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taormina.
