+ Excellent, friendly staff (Trey, Freddy repeatedly praised)+ Prime central location near subway, Flatiron and Madison Square Park+ Strong lobby vibe and stylish atmosphere+ Good value for Manhattan; spacious rooms by NYC standards− Noise from street due to windows not very soundproof− Some signs of wear: dark/dingy areas, slow elevators, occasional water leak− Practical room issues for some (lack of storage/drawers, no soap dishes)

7.0Unique hotel vibe and a great location
− Street noise through old windows, and the plumbing has a life of its own
Guest review
7.0The location is amazing. Close to a lot of the main attractions and very close to the subway. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful.
− The decor needs a general upgrade. The blinds in the room are not very good at keeping all the light out and the windows are not very soundproof.
