Great location. Quiet area
10.0The hotel was very cute, and the area it was beautiful. The staff was friendly and nice. The rooms clean and very accommodating.
− It is there at smell in the lobby very weird. Not sure if is the city, the property but it was disappointing. It was just in the lobby. The rooms were perfect!
A quiet location with good access to the city center, but the parking arrangements need significant
7.0The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood while still offering convenient access to downtown Washington, D.C. The view from our window was also very pleasant. Eventually, I found another nearby parking garage where three days cost approximately the same as one day of parking at the hotel.
− The air conditioning in the room was very loud. However, the biggest problem was the parking situation. The hotel states that there is no need to reserve a parking space in advance, but when we arrived late at night, no spaces were available. The receptionist told us to look for a space on the surrounding streets and suggested that something might become available at the hotel in the morning. After a long journey and a late-night arrival, we therefore had to search for parking while also taking into account the street parking restrictions that applied from early the following morning. In the end, the alternative parking was cheaper, but the way the hotel handled the situation was disappointing.

9.0Loved the room, kitchen and neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood, easy walk to Whole Foods for groceries, the Foggy Bottom metro station, and the mall.

Great value, location and staff with large rooms
9.0Staff was excellent, rooms were spacious and clean, location was great, just 2 blocks from the Metro.
− Hallways had terrible odor, but this was not present in the room.
Great base for discovering Wahington
9.0Centrally located you have everything you need in the river inn, close to foggy bottom metro. Nice atmosphere in the inn and extremely friendly and helpfull staff.
