Good but not worth the price.

Location is superb. Staff accommodates families with two rooms when possible next to each other and with a connecting door between the rooms.

− The elevators are making noise throughout the night. Rooms which do not benefit from the view to the street or river look at the internal courtyard and are exposed to this noise. Cleaning leaves room for improvement. Towels do not always get changed even when obviously necessary. Television entertainment channels have to be paid extra so kids can’t watch even the most basic kids TV. I wouldn’t expect it if it wasn’t for the high price.

− If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. This hotel is completely not worth even a dollar. The only positive thing I can say is its location. Everything else was a huge disappointment. We stayed for 8 nights, and our room was properly cleaned only once during our entire stay. Most days, housekeeping would show up around 4:00 p.m., and all they would do was make the bed. They wouldn’t empty the trash, replenish amenities, or properly clean the room. We also placed our towels on the floor, as instructed, to have them replaced, but they were simply hung back up for us to reuse. The restaurant service was equally terrible. On one occasion, it took 1.5 hours just to bring a single glass of wine. That level of service is simply unacceptable. The staff were consistently rude and lacked even the most basic level of hospitality. One incident sums up our experience perfectly. Our room was repeatedly left without drinking water, so we called reception to request some. The response we received was, “Oh yes, that room… you guys need a lot of water.” We were genuinely shocked and offended by such an unprofessional comment. After that, we stopped asking altogether and bought our own bottled water every day. The check-out experience was the perfect ending to an awful stay. The receptionist didn’t say a single word to us. She simply took our room keys—no smile, no “How was your stay?”, no “Thank you,” and no “Goodbye.” It was one of the coldest and most unfriendly check-out experiences we’ve ever had. I honestly don’t understand how this property has the ratings it does. The reviews on Booking.com are grossly inaccurate and do not reflect the experience we had. I travel frequently and rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was so disappointing that I felt compelled to write this review. Save your money and book somewhere else.
