Made the most of it, the property had a lot of promise, I was just fairly disappointed with the room situation for the e
8.0The location was great, pool was nice and towels were stocked, bed linens were comfortable. Bell staff were great.
− I booked a king room a month in advance of my stay. Upon check-in, I was informed that my reservation had been ‘upgraded’ to a suite. When I checked into our room, the upgrade was to the living room portion of a suite with both adjoining rooms closed off, so my family had to sleep on a full size Murphy bed and a couch; no ‘real’ bed. When I raised this issue with the staff, their reply was ‘unfortunately the property is completely sold out.’ It wasn’t sold out when I reserved my room, I shouldn’t have to pay ~$470/night for a room that doesn’t have the baseline of what I reserved, or that requires us to sleep on pullouts and couches. Conditioner dispenser was broke, and room didn’t have an ironing board.
