I expected more from a Nobu hotel
3.0Location is good, my room was fine. Food on the roof is very good, highly recommend the lobster and Avo salad.
− The lift system is dreadful. I waited 15 minutes to get from the fitness centre to my room on floor 17 and another long wait on a different occasion. A dirty cloth and old linen were left on the bed after it had been made up and on 2 of the 3 days of my stay the room hadn’t been cleaned by 5pm and I had to call reception. Not the staff’s fault, yet I waited almost an hour to checkin as there was a huge tour group that had just arrived.

Definitely not worth 700 euro for 2 nights with no breakfast and road works infront of the hotel.
7.0Maybe because I am used to 5 star in Asia, I expected too much. Nice room, very big, great view and soooo comfortable in the beds-pillows amazing. Got an upgrade so that was nice. An incredible gentleman on the door, it was only his second day, didn't get his name, had family in Germany-what a lovely guy and so happy and smiling-also Abdullah on the door helped with all our luggage. Bar staff pretty friendly and young man in Nobu was nice to my son. But some were ruder and felt a little off.
− This is a tough one pluses and minusus if I am completely honest-first receptionist was lovely, others grumpy and a tad short tempered. Our room was upgraded and a little cake for my sons birthday at Nobu. However, just a whole feeling of it not being to the standard of say, Asia 5star and hospitality. The looks from the staff sometimes, mainly the receptionist. It was a mixed bag of stangeness. Oh and the LIFTS!!!!! Everyone was discussing the lift situation, small cramped, slow. Nobu restaurant was OK but didnt compare to oters and was the most expensive we have visited. Also-to ask for 300 euro as a fixed deposit is alot.
