I was good, but I think we were lucky.

The biggest positive was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also offers some thoughtful extras that we really appreciated. In the lobby, is a fresh water dispenser, ice and coffee, plus clean glass bottles that guests can fill and take to their room. They also provide beach towels and beach umbrellas, which was an amazing surprise. We had planned to buy an umbrella and leave it behind, so this saved us both some money. The bed was comfortable, and the location is excellent. It’s just a few minutes from Nice-Ville train station and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the restaurants, old town and the beach. Although the hotel is located on a main road, the traffic noise didn’t bother me. Maybe I just got lucky and nobody decided to honk outside while I was sleeping. We also appreciated how the staff handled an issue with our room. The air conditioning was leaking, so they moved us to another room, which actually turned out to be a nicer one. I think we were lucky they were able to accommodate us, as the hotel seemed to be almost fully booked.

− The building is quite old. While that gives it some character, it also means you can hear pretty much everything happening in the neighbouring rooms. Some rooms, as well as the bathrooms, are also quite small. One practical issue was drying beachwear. The balconies don’t have any hooks or drying rack, so we had to improvise to hang our swimsuits and towels. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. It covered the basics: bread, eggs, cereal and so on, but very little felt fresh. The bread seemed to come straight from a bag, the scrambled eggs tasted like they were made from a pre-prepared mix, and the only fresh fruit available were a few tired-looking apples. The breakfast chairs also deserve a mention for the wrong reasons. They lean forward and genuinely feel like they’re about to collapse. The air conditioning worked, but we couldn’t adjust the temperature, only the fan. Another odd choice was the bedding. We visited during a July heatwave, yet the bed was still made with a thick duvet. There wasn’t even a top sheet underneath, so we ended up removing the duvet and sleeping with just the duvet cover. Finally, our first room didn’t have a full-length mirror. It may seem like a small detail, but I think that’s something you should expect in a 4-star hotel. I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel to most people.

Close to all amenities, friendly staff and excellent facilities. The staff were fantastic after booking.com and the previous property letting us down.

Curățenia se face zi de zi iar personalul de la recepție foarte drăguț.

− Poziționarea locației nu a fost tocmai ce ne așteptam, cu excepția faptului ca am avut gara foarte aproape fapt ce ne a permis deplasarea dintr-o parte în alta nu aș putea spune ca mi a plăcut altceva . Pe booking scrie ca e in centru, ca sa ajungem in centru trebuia sa mergem 1,2 km, la mare la fel Iar camera extrem, extrem de micuță, Dusul foarte incomod chiar și pentru o persoană, deci nu recomand persoanelor mai corpolente
