8.0We originally booked a three-night stay. Unfortunately, our first night was quite stressful. The air conditioning in our first room was working, but it was making a disturbing noise that made it impossible for us to sleep comfortably. The staff were very kind and helpful and moved us to a better room. Because of the experience that first night, we had actually decided to cancel the remaining two nights and move to another hotel. However, after being offered the better room, we decided to stay. The next morning, we were told that the second room had already been reserved for another guest and that we would need to move again. So, between our arrival at night and the following morning, we had to pack and change rooms twice, which was stressful and inconvenient. What made a big difference for us was the way the situation was handled afterwards. On the second day, Ingrid Farrugia left us a personal apology letter together with some lovely gifts in our room, which we truly appreciated. It was a very thoughtful gesture and made us feel that our experience and concerns had genuinely been heard and taken seriously. At check-out, a discount was also arranged for us to compensate for the inconvenience we experienced on our first night and the repeated room changes, which we truly appreciated. A very special thank you to Ingrid Farrugia for her kindness, understanding and warm attitude, and for following up on the situation so thoughtfully. Despite the difficulties we experienced at the beginning of our stay, the way everything was handled afterwards left us with a much more positive final impression.
