Disappointing Stay
1.0Only the location as it was surrounding by bakeries and restaurants and not far from Nice Villa train station.
− The air conditioning was switched off throughout October, with the hotel claiming this was part of its environmental policy. However, we were not informed of this restriction before our stay, and it was not mentioned on either the hotel’s website or its Booking.com listing, where air conditioning is advertised as an available facility. If the hotel could notify us in advance about maintenance work, it should have equally informed us that the AC would not be available. This is an important detail that could have influenced our booking decision. It was really hot even with the windows open and we couldn’t sleep throughout our 7 nights stay. The hotel rooms are not well maintained and cleaned. There are literally no amenities and they are based on request. Also, no complimentary water except for the first night and the hotel is saving on so many things although the rate per night is very high although it is not near the beach nor next to an attraction.

9.0Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen, huone tilava (2 hengen standard), aamiainen runsas (valikoimassa myös lämpimiä vaihtoehtoja). Vastaanoton henkilökunta ystävällistä.

4.0område ok, 5 min till promenade och Massena. sköna sängar
− hotellet berättade inte att de var mitt i en renovering, annars hade vi aldrig bokat. Störande ljud, borrar etc. Rummet vi erbjöds var sunkigt, gamla heltäckningsmattor, mögliga. Skev badrumsdörr som inte gick att stänga, blandare i duschen lös, garderobsdörren skev. Det fanns renoverade rum på samma våning (2), lediga, som de inte erbjöd oss, trots att vi sa vid incheckning att det var vår 40-åriga bröllopsdag. Killen vid receptionen var dock mycket trevlig, ville bjuda på ett glas vin, som vi tackade nej till , då klockan var 23.30 och vi varit igång sedan 07 på morgonen. Totalt ovärdigt, inte värda den fyrstjärniga klassificering de hävdar. Det skulle finnas en takteras med solstolar, den var stängd, liksom allt över våning fyra. Priset de debiterade för 5 nätter (2 pers), > 18 000 sek, är inte rimligt på något vis. Det är orimligt att begära hög-säsongspriser för ett gammalt halvsunkigt hotell, under renovering i början av oktober. Skall tilläggas att vi bott på ett stort antal hotell i Nice, med allt från 3-stärniga till 5-stjärniga. Det här var utan konkurrens det sämsta
