The BEST Beach Stay --EVER
10.0The BEST beach stay you'll ever have. I have been staying at DMBH since the 90s. I keep coming back because the location, the service, the amenities, the staff and the overall vibe. This truly is my Happy Place.

10.0Can’t beat the location! Large patio right on the sand and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms are good sized, comfortable, and AC works great.

10.0Amel made our experience 5 stars plus. She pointed us in the right direction for food and entertainment and she was spot on! We enjoyed all of the places she suggested , so much so, we booked the room for an additional night. Because of her we will make the Del Mar Beach Hotel our go to spot on a more regular basis. Thank you Amel!
On the beach and walkable
10.0We stayed here for a family staycation. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms are nice and clean, and well appointed. The rooms have a mini refrigerator, safe, and keruig coffee machine. The hotel provides beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and boogie boards to enjoy your time on the beach. The lobby offers wine that you can enjoy through a wine dispenser that you pay for when you checkout. The only negative I have are that the walls are thin so we could hear the guest upstairs and the train going by in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, this is something to consider. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back again.

Amel at the front desk was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration feel extra special. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help truly made a difference. She made us feel valued and cared for, and her exceptional customer service is something I will always remember. I also want to give a huge thank you to the manager, Brittany, who was incredibly kind, considerate, and accommodating. She helped make our stay even more memorable and showed such genuine care for our experience. Because of Amel, Brittany, and the wonderful hospitality we received, this trip was truly worth it. It’s rare to find a place where the staff makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated. We will absolutely be coming back and recommending the Del Mar Hotel to others. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so special!
