Fantastic hotel in an ideal location
10.0What a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. 5 min walk from Amsterdam Centraal and main amenities, cafes, restaurants etc. I couldn’t believe how close it was! The hotel itself is very modern and was brilliant. Very clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and it was lovely to receive a complimentary stroopwaffel upon checking in and a clog souvenir upon checking out. Whilst we were staying it was my partner’s birthday and the hotel gifted him with some macarons and a lovely glass carafe of water with lovely nautical details. The room was lovely & reminded me of the Premier Inn Hub hotels. It was cosy but comfortable, the only criticism was that the aircon sometimes was on but didn’t actually work? It does say it can be controlled from Reception so I don’t know if that was why it was on but the room didn’t get any cooler. But it was only temporary during the day, it was fine when we went to sleep etc and the room stayed cool. I would definitely stay here again!
