10.0Came to Portland for the hot sauce expo. We rented the Junior suite for 3 people. The beds were nice and the room was comfortable

6.0Beware. They tell you that you don't need to pay the daily 'use fee', but then lead you down a path that does charge a daily use fee, and then say 'there is nothing we can do about it'

This is no luxury hotel!
2.0THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL! It has some of the trappings of a high-end hotel - attractive lobby decorated with award-winning photographs by David Kennerly throughout the hotel - public areas and even within the rooms - but the rooms are a bit tired looking and the bathrooms are definitely a few decades old - or certainly not very modern. Towels are small and not luxurious. And the "free" breakfast if you're a special Hilton member is a big fat dud - plastic-wrapped, vending-machine style breads - but the free coffee in the lobby available mornings is nice. As is the iced tea in the afternoon. Apparently there is beer at happy hour, but I did not partake. BIGGEST DRAWBACK is there is apparently NO SERVICING of your hotel room AT ALL during a 3-day stay. I believe it is only after 3 days that anyone sets foot in your room to clean anything! That means, no bed made, no towels refreshed, no trash removed, no cleaning whatsoever. I find that unusual, esp in a hotel that bills itself as a luxury category hotel. Did not work for me.
Great spot for a Portland stay
10.0Great spot downtown with easy access to lots of Portland highlights. Really comfortable rooms, good beer choices for complementary happy hour, friendly staff with excellent recommendations and the girls loved the arcade downstairs.
